Nik will be returning to SE Scotland to tutor alongside fellow SWLA members; Darren Woodhead and Kittie Jones on the John Busby Seabird Drawing Course.
This unique course takes students to locations along the spectacular coast and onto the islands of Firth a Forth, to experience and record the spectacle of the bird colonies at peak breeding time.
The course based in Dunbar is an intensive drawing course. The fee is £395 including packed lunch and evening meal please note that accommodation and boat fares are not included.
The sharing of the day’s experiences, stories and the work made on location is an integral part of the course. Each evening a programme of talks, demos and tutoring is provided. On location tutors will set tasks / creative warm-up exercises and provide one to one advice whilst working alongside the students.
Seabirds are at the centre of the course however there is opportunity for students to look at the wider landscape, flora and other fauna if they choose.
